Design Matrix (Pvt) Ltd. is an Architectural, Urban & Engineering design consultancy firm with project management skills. History of Design Matrix begins with the vision of Architect Rizwan Manzur who set up this organization in 2005 and steered it with an aim to excel in the fields of Architectural Design, Urban Design and interior design with innovation and creativity, keeping our heritage intact. In 2007 Engr. Ahsan Manzur (Structural Engineer) joined this organization as a managing partner to strengthen the Engineering & project management department. As a company, DM is highly committed to provide best services in all types of design works with creativity and quality works. DM has also done various valuable projects under the consortium of Green Matrix. It is an institute where designed and development grow and emerged as a matrix of services.
Philosophy
DM focuses on the philosophy of green building solutions by working out the matrix of analysis regarding macro and micro climates of the particular area, building techniques, materials and its cultural relevance. We also keep in mind the client’s desires, financial allocations, by using innovative means to keep the building aesthetically strong and culturally fit. It does not neglect the philosophy of form follows the function, while composing the masses, surfaces, textures, colors etc., treating architecture as state of the art piece.
Growth
Our experience extends across a wide spectrum of building types ranging from commercial, residential, mixed development, institutional, religious, industrial & health care projects. DM has also undertaken housing projects various of different income groups.
Future Direction
The Mega projects today require a multi-disciplinary practice with experience personnel supported by the state of the art computers and information technology. We have put in place the necessary equipment and manpower to handle very large projects not only in Pakistan but also overseas. Indeed, we have been commissioned by some overseas clients to carry out substantial projects in their countries on the strength of our track record and we see our involvement in overseas projects increasing in the coming years. In terms of capability of the firm, it has a systematic up gradation program in all areas of its operation. We believe that it is important to prepare the firm to meet the challenges of the future.
